MUSiCIANS
Rebecca – Lead & Harmony Vocals
Rebecca was born humming a tune. Whether entertaining her friends and family at informal gatherings, to singing in show choir and open mic nights throughout college, music has always been an integral part of her life. From performing the national anthem for the Seattle Supersonics and the Seattle Sounders, to having an original song play on STAR 101.5 in high school, Rebecca is always up to trying something musically new. If you ever wonder what it was really like to audition for the first season of American Idol, just ask. Rebecca. When not singing, Rebecca either works as an HR consultant or spends time with her husband and 2 young children.
Sheena – Lead & Harmony Vocals
Sheena is a true Filipina-American: she has been singing karaoke at family parties from a very young age. Her [tiger] parents helped to hone her musical ear by *encouraging* her to play classical piano for many years as a kid. After high school, she focused more on singing. In college at MIT she sang with an a cappella group, the Muses. After college she expanded her repertoire by singing with an 8-piece jazz band in Boston. In medical school at the University of Michigan she sang lead with a pop/rock cover band named Saturday Night Palsy. Residency at the University of Washington brought her to Seattle in 2013. While in residency, she sang with the band, Ever Leaf. When she’s not singing, she is either chasing her young children, or working as an anesthesiologist at Virginia Mason.
James – Lead & Harmony Vocals
James has started performing early in numerous musical theater productions and every school choir imaginable through high school. At university, James got a taste for live performance traveling the state with WSU’s show choir (The Crimson Company). A treasured memory was being able to combine his love of singing with baseball, performing the national anthem at Safeco Field. In the seven years preceding the pandemic, James was the lead vocalist for The EveryLeaf Band and performed over 40 shows a year at bars, festivals, and community events all around Western Washington from the Oregon to Canadian borders and everywhere in between.
Phil – Drums
Phil has been part of the Seattle Music Scene since moving to Seattle in 1992. He started out backing up the singing wait staff on the Spirit of Puget Sound “Ooh Spirit!!”. From there he moved up to playing In the Mood at the Captain’s Cocktail Party on Carnival Ecstasy, Jubilee, and Holiday. Once back in Seattle again he spent the next 10 years playing the blues with The Big Time Bluesman Isaac Scott, Kimball & The Fugitives, and Stickshift Annie. From there it was on to playing Muckleshoot and Tulalip with The Goods, That 80’s Show, and Gold Digger. Nowadays Phil has embraced his inner-computer nerd and is spending his days building software. However, he still enjoys playing out on occasion with musican folks like The Beat Project.
Brian – Bass and Harmony Vocals
Brian has been playing bass for over 4 decades, playing just about every style from Jazz & Blues to top 40 and Funk, including a stint in a Dixie-land band playing tuba. A music major originally from Connecticut and trained in Chicago, Brian has spent the past 30 years as professional composer, sound designer and musician; if you’re a gamer, you may have heard some of his music on games ranging from Game of Thrones to Mutant Football League, or the old-school Madden games!
Pascal – Lead Guitar
Pascal has been playing guitar for over 30 years playing all styles form blues, rock, funck, metal and jazz. He has played in many touring bands since high school and in the late 80s played in Take 1, one of Toronto’s hottest Top 40 New Wave bands in the circuit. In the early 90s Pascal took time off to master his diverse playing style and in the late 90s moved to Spokane, playing there with local band favorites. Recently Pascal has played with Seattle dance bands Rendezvous and Take One.
